Let's talk about the Blue Eyed Squirrel Etsy shop for a minute! Christiana, who lives in Los Angeles, does amazing things with PVC and stone! All of the pieces in her shop are handmade by her and each one is completely unique. Christiana considers herself a material-centric maker, which means she creates without limitations; she combines gemstones with plastics, or sterling silver with steel. She pays attention to every detail. Since she knows that some people suffer from metal allergies (like me for instance!), she only works with silver, gold, and stainless steel.
The necklace I'm wearing in the pictures is so beautiful that the pictures don't do it justice. There are three shades of purple PVC stone (and you know how much I love purple), one yellow-peach PVC stone, and one real Labradorite stone that changes color in the light. To compliment the colors in the necklace, I wore a blue peplum top and purple flats.
