New Buys & Inspiration

I bought these lovely brown booties at DSW (for 40% off!) and lately I've been dreaming up all the different ways I can wear them come fall. Since they're brown and obviously a neutral, I'll be able to wear them with colored jeans and regular jeans, a dress and tights, and my matching brown bomber jacket. Oh the possibilies!

When I looked back at my "My Style Pinboard" on Pinterest, I saw loads of inspiration that I had pinned even before I got those shoes. It's like I somehow knew. Shopping intuition?

But ever since I got them I've been pinning (or saving to my computer) pictures that have similar booties. Do you guys collect inspiration for pieces of clothing that you already own, too?

    awww the boots are cute :D I've some in a similar colour and you can really wear them with everything, that's quite amazing!
    though I think I shouldn't always pick black or brown shoes :DD

    Actually, I'm dying for a pair of 70s inspired ankle boots for fall with a decent, but chunky heel so I can still manage to walk around campus in them without killing myself. That said, I have a growing collection of about 60+ shoes at the moment so I really should just stick to reading lust-worthy posts like yours for now.
