Books For Bad Ass Lady Types

If you like reading books about bad ass ladies then this post is for you! If you'd read Lumberjanes than this blog post title might sound a bit familiar because I just couldn't resist. I love a good book with a kiss-ass, flawed heroine who's always herself, uses her smarts and skills to solve problems, doesn't need a boy or girl to save her, and pretty much makes me want to be her. 

These are all books that I've read and enjoyed and which feature one or more awesome girls. If you're not sure where to start, my favorites are Nimona, Cinder, A Study in Charlotte, Pride and Prejudice, Ms. Marvel, and Jane Steele. Have you read any of these books?
