I don't have a boyfriend (and I never have), but every year I still get really excited about Valentine's Day! It's a day that celebrates love, so what's not to love? I may not know romantic love, but there are so many other kinds of love out there! I'm certainly not lacking in the love department with all the family and friends I have! So whether you have a significant other or not, I hope you have a beautiful Valentine's or Galentine's Day, my friend!

My parents are letting all the neighborhood kids go over to their place so the other parents can go out this year and I'm gonna make a bunch of heart shaped food for my daughter. I think non-romantic Valentine's days can be more fun, although I am still going out with my husband for dinner on Saturday, :)

What's great about Valentine's day is that you get to celebrate love in all shapes and sizes to all the people who care about! Nora and I plan on baking my husband a big pile of cookies

This year the boyfriend and I aren't doing anything super grand. I'd rather celebrate love other times of the year and avoid the crowds! I think we are just going to watch a movie together!

These inspirations are just adorable! I'm not a big Valentine's Day person, and I never have been, even though my husband and I have been together for close to half our lives. But I'm definitely not against any holiday that comes with chocolates ;)

I love that headband - too cute! And love that you're not bashing the V-day even if you're single! It's not my favorite holiday, but I hate when people I know make me feel bad for celebrating it with my boyfriend. I send cards to my friends and family, too - it's not just about romantic love! (Although, I never turn down my helpless romantic boyfriend and his sappy plans haha)
