Oh my, this new lens! The Canon 50mm f1.8 II lens takes amazing pictures, gets that awesome blurry background, and is lightweight (which is perfect for when I use my camera for work). I was considering getting the 50mm f/1.4, but that's $400 whereas this one is only $125. If you're looking for a new lens, this particular Nifty Fifty is where it's at.
