Inspired By: Books Turned Movies

Who else loves it when a book they like turns into a movie? I've read two of the books below (Gone Girl and Mockingjay), so I'm excited to see the movies, but I also really want to read Hector and the Search for Happiness and also see the movie because I love Simon Pegg.

Hector and the Search for Happiness
Hector and the Search for Happiness
Written by Francois Lelord, a psychiatrist Hector travels around the world to understand what makes people happy and unhappy. He travels from Paris to China to the U.S. to Africa and keeps a list of observations.

Be happy and wear color: a pink blazer, a balloon shirt, hot air balloon earrings, black pants, and green bow flats. Or instead wear a black open cardigan, a colorful and bright dress, an orange watch, and short pointed heels. (Release Date: September 19)

  5. Why have I never heard about Hector and the Search for Happiness? I need that book. Great collections as always, The wild one looks really comfy and even though I couldn't wear the leather sleeve cardigan it's my favorite from the collection (I tend to role sleeves up on whatever I'm wearing and it wouldn't work here)

  6. I'm not sure as sometimes the titles in German are different but it seems like as I didn't read any of the books (and watch the films) you show here. Therefore I thank you for the tips and the inspiring collages. I like especially the colourful dress in the 1st collage!

  9. All of the feels of these collages are spot on! I love that you took the colors from the covers, but the feel from the novels. I'm writing all of these down to read later-- well the three I haven't read.
