The best part is Rachael makes all of the jewelry by hand and is always coming up with cool, fresh ideas (like these gemstone rings and these thin stacked rings). Because it's all handcrafted she has no problem customizing the jewelry. I was able to get this beautiful druzy ring with a cobalt stone and silver wire instead of the gold it showed online. Guys, how pretty are these earrings? I'm not sure why, but I kind of stopped wearing earrings about a year ago. I was so into them for years and years, but somehow I lost interest. Well that's all changed. I received these lovely orchid earrings from Simply Chic and can't stop wearing them! I have a nickel allergy (my earlobes get really itchy), but these plated fishhook wires haven't resulted in any issues at all. These earrings go with everything, the length is perfect, and add a touch of girliness!

I wore this outfit to a work event -- the Women in Business Luncheon -- and had a great time interacting with professional female business leaders. Jean Chatzky of the TODAY show was the keynote speaker and she spoke amazingly well about her journey to success and what it's like to be a woman in business. I've been seeing pink coats, particularly pale pink ones, all over the place, both online and off. They're so chic and feminine and a bit sassy. If I didn't already have a few coats (you can't live in New York and not have a jacket or two), I would definitely get one. A bright pink one would definitely make those dreary months of snow and gray skies a little better.

Welcome Rachael of Simply Chic!

I am 28 and reside in St Louis, MO. I currently work on my jewelry in my spare time: after work and on the weekends. My plan is to have at least one new item up every weekend. Simply Chic Jewelry was started out of inspiration of two things: color and the need for simple pieces. I work in an office environment and I did not want to wear any large statement pieces. I wanted simple, but colorful and chic, items that I could wear to spruce up my work wardrobe. I use a lot of Swarovski crystals and gemstones. I'm attracted to sparkly things! What girl isn't, right? I noticed that I had a lot of supplies and wanted to do something about it. That's when I officially started on pieces for my shop. Simply Chic was an idea I had in Jan 2014 but I finally made it come to fruition. It's exciting!
