On Monday I had a bit of car trouble. When I tried to turn the car on at 8:30 in the morning to go to work, it wouldn't start all the way. It made a lot of noise, but not the one I wanted to hear. I thought it was the battery since it had died a couple of weeks ago when I left the lights on during class (oops).
I have a car charger, but ironcially it wasn't charged. But I tried it anyway and it worked, so I started driving, but only two minutes later the check engine light went on and the car wouldn't go faster than 5 mph. I pulled over and accidentally took the key out of the ingnition. I still hate myself for making that dumb mistake because I knew it wouldn't start again, and what do you know, it didn't.
I tried the car charger again. Someone pulled over to charge my car with jumper cables. Neither worked. So I had to wait for a tow truck to bring the car back to my house. Then my mom had to come get me to drive me to work (we work at the same place, but I need my car to drive to school). Instead, my dad picked me up and drove me to school.
So this week I'm taking a combination of the Metro-North, a bus, and a subway to school, depending on whether I'm a home or work. Hopefully my car will be fixed soon!
Since my car is a 1990 Acura Integra, I'm going to dream of a shiny, new car...
Honda Civic
VW Passat
Toyota Corolla
VW van -- for Jackie
Ice cream truck -- kidding. Kind of.
i was about to get so mad and yell at you because you posted MY car, haha thanks for the tag :)

Thanks! I hope it gets fixed soon too!!
DeleteNo joke - just this morning I was thining how fun it would be to have an ice cream truck. Not as a daily driver, but just for a weekend car. You'd make all the kids in your neighborhood happy. :)

I've always wanted an ice cream truck!! That would be amazing! I would probably just end up eating all of the ice cream though!
