Last month, I actually saw three out of the six movies I listed (The Hunger Games, John Carter, and Mirror Mirror). Sadly, Mirror Mirror wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be, but it was still fun and cute.
Anyway, forget February; April is the month of love. Titanic, Take Me Home, Blue Like Jazz, The Lucky One, & The Five-Year Engagement. They're all coming out this month, so when April showers start you can hide out in a movie theatre and fall in love.
Titanic in 3D
The classic story of love found and lost aboard the iconic Titanic, starring of course Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Who doesn't love this movie and tear up at the end? (April 4)
The Hunter
Martin (Willem Dafoe), a mercenary, is hired to delve deep into the Tasmanian wilderness in order to search for a tiger that is believed to be extinct. Why does this anonymous company need this tiger's DNA? Is he going to find the tiger? What's going to happen if he does or does not? It looks intriguing. (April 6)
Take Me Home
A cab driver named Thom decides to drive a woman from New York to California (for a price, of course). This romantic comedy looks funny and realistic; the trailer made me feel like I was glimpsing someone else's life. (April 9)
The Three Stooges
Larry, Curly, and Moe's newest adventure as they try to solve a murder while landing on a reality TV show. You can't go wrong with these three. (April 13)
96 Minutes
A carjacking creates chaos for four teens about to graduate from high school. Like Crash but with teens, the film moves between what's happening in the car and what occured earlier in the day. As we get to know these kids, we see who they are and how they ended up in the car. (April 17)
The Five-Year Engagement
This movie looks absolutely hilarious. If you don't believe me, check out the trailer HERE. Starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as the couple that just can't seem to get married. I love both of these actors and I can't wait to see this! (April 27)
What movies are you looking forward to this month?
noooo you saw mirror mirror without me :(
ReplyDeleteSorry, but it wasn't all that great anyway.
