I knew that it was going to be blisteringly hot (AKA over 90 degrees) the day I went to the Rain Room exhibit about two weeks ago, so I wanted to wear something light and flowy. This floral dress with a slight high-low hem was the perfect thing. I brought along a cardigan because I figured the line to the exhibit would be in the sun and I didn't want to get sunburned. Of course, it was so hot that I took it off and ended up getting a slight burn on my shoulders. Figures.
Admittedly, I didn't wear this Maybelline Vivids lipstick {seen here} that day, but I wanted to show it off. It goes on smoothly and it's bright, but doesn't look like I'm wearing a neon sign on my lips. It has a subtle and pleasant floral smell, and I love the bright packaging.

Well, if you really like florals you could always wear it when you're not with him. Some florals can be grandma-ish, but a lot nowadays are modern and fun!
