This is the outfit I wanted to wear to my brother's graduation at Radio City Music Hall, but it was supposed to rain ("supposed to" being the key words here). Instead I opted for my spring peplum outfit, but of course it ended up being 85 degrees and sunny.
This outfit is also pretty much this inspiration post come to life. When I bought this dress (at nearly 50% off because of Memorial Day sales), I knew I had to pair it with bright pink. And how cute are the cut-outs on the side?!
(Sorry my pictures aren't as wide as they usually are. For some reason, when I re-size them in Photoshop and upload them they get all pixelated, and I have no idea why. I'm not doing anything differently. Honestly, I'm annoyed that I can't figure it out.)
Dress: American Eagle Outfitters, Jacket: Marshalls, Belt: DIY, Watch: Target, Bracelet: Daisy Petal Designs, Sandals: Kmart, Lipstick: Maybelline Color Whisper in Pink Possibilities & Glasses: Bonlook

You guys know how much I love glasses, so was ecstatic to be able to see the frames in the new Ocean Avenue collection ahead of time. These new frames are effortlessly cool and have cute names that are perfect for summer. I love the idea of throwing on one of these sunglasses, a breezy dress, worn-in sandals, and drinking a cold Izze while having adventures with my friends in Midtown.
What outfit would you wear while having adventures?
Which sunglasses are your favorite?

DeleteTo me, there are two things that make this outfit - the first is that pink belt, it's the perfect pop of colour. And the second are the cutouts in your dress. So cute! What a shame you couldn't wear this the day of your brother's graduation, but I'm glad we got to see it, anyway. And I totally understand your Photoshop/Blogger frustration, it's happened to me so many times before! Hope it all sorts itself out soon :)
