I seem to go through bag cycles: small crossbody bags in the spring and summer, and larger bags in the fall and winter. In the winter, I need more room for my hat, scarf, gloves, and at times an extra pair of socks. During the warmer months, I don't feel the need to carry as much with me: phone, wallet, keys, lip balm, notebook, and a small bag with some beauty necessities. It feels good to not have to tote around so much stuff.
Although I'm still going to be using my Old Navy bucket bag, I couldn't resist this beauty from Modcloth. It'll be perfect for hopping on a train and exploring the city because it's big enough to fit my camera, wallet, phone, and a lipstick or two.
P.S. -- What's in my everyday bag.
Love your bag and your skirt! I mostly use big bags, I should minimize the things I carry around hehe. I have a few small bags but they are kind of hidden in the closet...maybe that why I always forget about them.
ReplyDeletethats a super pretty spring outfit, the heart pin in bag is amazing

Ah, that is a great bag! I desperately need to find one that its my camera in it....I don't really enjoy toting my boring Nikon case with me wherever I go. Love your skirt as well!
ReplyDeleteI love that bag! It's the perfect size and really cute :)
ReplyDeleteI totally go through cycles when it comes to what type of handbag I am carrying! Right now I am in a really big tote phase.

So in love with your new purse <3
ReplyDeleteYour new purse is so cute! And I love that floral skirt!
ReplyDeleteI definitely go through bag cycles, too! I didn't realize it but you're right also that I tend to use bigger bags during the fall/winter and smaller ones during spring/summer. =D

I love all of these pictures and the head to toe look. I loved the little peek on IG, but I'm always into seeing more. Who knew floral and stripes?
ReplyDeleteI never thought about it but it makes sense to carry a bigger bag in the winter, perfect to stuff gloves, hats, scarves, extra layers, etc. into it. I'm loving your new warm weather bag :) The heart pin is such a cute, extra detail!

Bare legs after Winter are the best. I love stripes and floral prints together, especially fine lines like your top!
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect size bag for everyday! What a great find. I'm pretty sure Danielle from A Little Bit of WoWe has the same skirt. I knew it looked familiar! It looks adorable with your striped tee!
ReplyDeleteI got this skirt on a whim and it's one of my favorite skirts! I wear it way too often! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, the wind feels so good on my bare legs!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mili!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Meghan! I love print mixing! It's so fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Julie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristin!
ReplyDeleteMy mom loves her tote bags! She gets a new one every few months!
ReplyDeleteI put my camera in this bag this past Saturday, my wallet, and phone and the bag was surprisingly light! You should definitely find a small but cute bag that fits your camera!
ReplyDeleteI carry a lot less when I have a small bag because obviously there's less room. It forces me to pick and choose. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm constantly changing my bag around...but I really need a new crossbody, that works for going out when I need free hands! Yours is great, I love the color and how roomy it looks! Great outfit too, you just can't go wrong with stripes and florals.
ReplyDelete♥ perfectly Priya
