There's a new crop of movies coming out within the next two months that are based on popular novels. I get really excited when something I've read is translated to the big screen! It's like seeing my imagination right in front of me.

Seventh Son
Written by Joseph Delaney, Old Gregory is a Spook that rids the local villages of evil, but who will take over after he's gone? Twenty-nine apprentices have tried to do his job, but many have fled or died, and now only Thomas Ward is left. He's the last apprentice. Will Thomas succeed? This movie based on the book is called Seventh Son.
For a tough girl look, wear a black quilted leather jacket, black maxi dress, gold rings, and black lace-up boots. Or go for a look based on the cover by donning a navy cape coat, black sweater, gray jeans, and over the knee boots. (Release Date: January 17, 2014)

I, Frankenstein
Written by Mary Shelley, this classic gothic novel is about Dr. Victor Frankenstein, whose life goal is to create life from nothing. Using pieces of dead bodies and his own ingenuity, Frankenstein eventually succeeds. It's also based on the graphic novel I, Frankenstein by Kevin Grevioux. In the upcoming movie, the monster takes the name Adam Frankenstein and gets caught up in a centuries old war between two clans who want to know the secret to Frankenstein's immortality.
Dress like the cover by wearing a heart print dress, burgundy tights, burgundy belt, and heeled black oxfords. Or go for a tougher look: try a gray peacoat, heart print sweater, jeans, spike rings, and lace-up studded boots. (Release Date: January 24, 2014)

It just happened that the ones coming to theaters soon are mostly adventure movies based in a fantasy world while the other is based on true events during World War II. The only ones I've read are The Hobbit and Frankenstein, both of which I would recommend if you like reading the book before you see the movie.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
The second film based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit follows the unlikely adventurer Bilbo Baggins as he goes on an epic adventure with twelve dwarves and Gandalf the Grey. He must journey into unknown territory, battling giant spiders, a necromancer, a dragon, Wood-elves, and his own fear.
Dress like Bilbo by wearing a burgundy blazer, green sweater, gray jeans, suspenders, and red sneakers. Or dress like one of Bilbo's companions by throwing on a gray parka, black sweater dress, spider ring, and black boots. (Release Date: December 13)

The Monuments Men
Written by Robert M. Edsel and based on true events, during World War II, Hitler had his armies hoarding the finest art in Europe. In a race against time, a special force of American and British museum directors, curators, and art historians, called the Monuments Men, risk their lives to protect valuable art.
Wear a cute office look: gray blazer, white blouse, black jeans, statement earrings, and black heels. Or for a 1940s look, try a gray bomber jacket, black blouse, gray jeans, dog tags, and black booties. (Release Date: December 18)
