I wore this to work on a cooler day last week. I like the subtle mix of stripes and leopard with fun rhinestone embellishments. Definitely made regular ol' jeans a little more professional.
Also, if you're thinking of getting a bucket bag, you should get this Old Navy one; it's not too big and not too small, and the faux leather is so soft and supple. I decided to buy this bag because I wanted a crossbody bag that fit my iPad and all my other essentials. For months, I've been using my small blue bag and carrying my iPad, but that was getting really annoying.
Have you guys been watching Welcome to Sweden? Two episodes have aired in the U.S. already and it's hilarious. Greg Poehler aka Amy Poehler's brother based this series on his own life about how he moved to Sweden for his girlfriend. In the show, Greg plays Bruce, and it shows all the strange and funny things that happens when you move to a different country, don't know the language, and have to live with your girlfriend's parents for a while. I would definitely recommend it!

I wanted this Old Navy bag SO bag after I saw you post it on Instagram! With my boyfriend being in the US, I asked him to stop by Old Navy, but it was sold out in all three stores he visited. I'm a little sad right now :( Hahaha! xo

ReplyDeleteI love the pretty little flowers on your sweater! What a neat detail! I like all the mix of prints too and fantastic bag!
ReplyDeleteI'm such a sucker for anything striped, so I obviously love this sweater! This bag is fantastic too.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I tried watching the pilot for Welcome to Sweden, and I did not like it. Something about the tone seemed off and I thought the jokes were trying too hard. It seemed like it has some potential though (and I obviously love Amy Poehler), so I think if it gets picked up for a second season once it finds its groove, I'll give it another chance. I'd love to hear your thoughts as it continues though!

The pilot does seem like it's trying too hard and Bruce can be kind of annoying, but I think I just like awkward scenarios like this and find them hilarious! Thanks, Elana!
ReplyDeleteI think it's really funny! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute show and it's pretty funny! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sara, but I've found a solution ^_^ I found a bucket bag that looks very much a like at H&M! It has the same color and size, and will be stocked staring August as part of the pre-fall collection. I hope I can get my hands on one before it sells out too! xo
ReplyDeleteI did not realize the shirt was embellished until the upclose shot! I love it. I've been thinking hard about those old navy tassel bags. The strap looks like it's a very appropriate length here. I appreciate that considerably.
ReplyDeletePS. I don't think I've visited since the blog redo (sorry...) but I LOVE IT!!
