Watch | Read | Listen {July 2015}

Is it bad that I really want to see Minions? I know it's a kid's movie, but it looks so funny and those little yellow minions are adorable. I also need to see Ant-Man because I love Paul Rudd and Marvel superhero movies.

MOVIES

Terminator Genisys
When John Connor (Jason Clarke) sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, it creates a fractured timeline. Now Kyle Reese is in an unfamiliar version of the past and must reset the future. {Watch the trailer.} (July 1)

Minions
The minions live to serve the most despicable villains, so three minions (Kevin, Stuart, and Bob) go on a road trip where they hope to get a shot to work for a new boss--the world's first female super-villain. {Watch the trailer.} Who doesn't love the minions, right? (July 10)

Ant-Man
Master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd)  must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) protect the secret behind his Ant-Man suit from threats. {Watch the trailer.} NEED to see this! (July 17)

Pixels
When intergalactic aliens discover classic video games and misinterpret them as a declaration of war, they attack Earth using video games for their assaults. It's up to four men (Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad, and Peter Dinklage) to save the world. {Watch the trailer.} I have to say this looks pretty funny. (July 24)

Mission: Impossible Rogue Notion
Ethan (Tom Cruise) and his team (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) take on their most impossible mission yet: eradicating the Syndicate, an international rogue organization that is determined to destroy the IMF. {Watch the trailer.} It's a Mission: Impossible movie. Of course I have to see it! (July 31)

Dreaming that the real world could be a little more like the countless science-fiction books, movies, and video games he’s spent his life consuming. 4. I've been loving Rachel Platten, too! She's definitely a rising star. Sometimes kids movies are really the best! I used to work at a babysitting service, so I've seen plenty of them. I was totally into High School Musical at one point and I still really like the 3rd one. They've been playing the Despicable Me movie a lot on TV lately and it's pretty good.

  7. I love this series of yours, it's how I find out about the new upcoming movies! I think the minions are cute, but I don't think i will be watching the movie since their "talk" hurts my head after a while. But like I said, I do think they're cute :P

    I really enjoyed the last mission impossible movie i watched (I can't remember which number it was) So I'm excited to see the new one too!

  8. I don't love the minions :(
    I think it's been ruined by really silly women on my FB who attach terrible quotes to photos of them...

  9. There are a ton of movies coming out that I want to see, but probably won't see in theaters. Summer is so busy anyway I never have time for the movies, plus $$. I feel like all spare cash always ends up going to ice cream in the summer! :)

  10. I whole-heartadly disagree that the Minions movie is a kids movie! I find that many Pixar movie´s and modern day animated movies are more suited for grown-ups than kids. I actually got to watch The Minions already and it is sooo funny and also features a few scenes and jokes, I am sure kids don´t get ;) So watch it and have fun ;)
