If you watch this show, then you know how amazing it is. If you don't, you need to do so right now. The plots are elaborate but still easy to follow, the acting is spot on, it's highly amusing to watch Sherlock's antics, there's suspense and humor, and the way in which Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch)and Watson (Martin Freeman) were brought into the 21st century is very clever and realistic.
The second season begins on Masterpiece (PBS) on May 6th (this Sunday!)
You can find both Freeman and Cumberbatch next in The Hobbit this December, and then Cumberbatch in the Star Trek sequel next year.

Inspired by Holmes & Watson...
One of my friends is obsessed with everything Sherlock and she recommends it to me all the time. I really want to watch it, but when it aired on Austrian free TV last weekend it was too late and also the day before an important final exam, so unfortunately I wasn't able to watch TV. Is it necessary to see all previous episodes in order to understand the following ones or could I just start in the middle? ;)

You could definitely start in the middle since everyone knows the friendship that Holmes and Watson have. But I would definitely recommend seeing the very first one because it has the best mystery! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
