October and November have been pretty busy months so far. November means it's National Novel Writing Month, so the biggest change is that I've been sitting down and writing every single day. It feels good to write every day, even though I'm behind on the amount of words I should have by now. The goal is to have 50,000 words, but since I'm already half-way through my novel, I don't think I have enough story left to complete the task since most novels are between 70,000 and 90,000 words. If I run out of story, I'll just have to start working on my next novel!
Tomorrow, I'm going to a NJ/NY blogger meet up started by by Monica of Moda by Monika! Not sure who else is going other than her and Sharon of The Tiny Heart, but I'm excited to meet everyone in person!
Mini pumpkin & Almay lip gloss // Starbucks with friends // After exercising
Using the BeauCoo app // new Payless heels // Writing & drinking a chocolate chai tea
My silly little sister // new sparkly bow flats // necklace & sweater
Warm winter gear // "Coffee friends. The truest kinds of friends." // Booties
Fall leaves everywhere // I won this make up book! // New greeting cards in a cute box
Light & shadow // Love this WoodWick candle // Couldn't resist a teacup candle, pink bow hooks, and a book print pillowcase from H&M
The easiest DIY ever!
All you need is a string of twinkle lights and a glass jar to make a pretty and romantic light!
Just make sure the actual lights don't touch anything flammable since they got hot.
I wanted to share this cute infographic from You + We Photography!
If any one of are professional or amatear photographers, or are simply going to a wedding this weekend, you could use some of these tips to take some amazing pictures!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing that cute little mini pumpkin in your pictures. <3 Have fun at your meet up!
ReplyDeleteOH WOW! The DIY with lights is really nice. Maybe using led lights, which does not produce any heat would be good as well. I'll try this, just as soon as I find some nice Jar.

This was my first year doing National Novel Writing Month! I really enjoyed it and got a lot of words down. But now I'm way behind, and I haven't written hardly anything this week. Reason being that my grandma is dying of cancer and only has a few days left to live at most, so I've been spending my time visiting & helping her out. Hope you have good luck working on your novel, I'm going to keep writing mine when I can.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first year doing it too! I was really into at the beginning, but have also slowed down considerably. I think we're supposed to be at 30,000 words, but I'm only at 13,000. Good luck with your nove. And I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Glad you like this DIY!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We'll have to do a NY/NJ/PA meet up!
ReplyDeleteYes, writing a novel is sooo difficult! People don't get it until they sit down and attempt it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCan we, seriously? Much needed! <3
