If you haven't seen the mind-blowing awesomeness that is Jessica Jones, put on Netflix right now and watch it. You might protest and say that you don't like superhero shows, but this is a superhero show for people who don't like superheroes because Jessica isn't a hero. She's just a woman (with super strength) who is a private investigator trying to survive day to day.
It's intense and emotional and raw and scary and cool. And of course totally awesome. I got so invested in the characters (Krysten Ritter and David Tennant are SO good) that I had to marathon it!
Jessica
Jessica (Krysten Ritter) is a woman who opens her own detective agency and who has super strength and flight. She's suffering from PTSD after managing to get away from a horrible man named Kilgrave who forced her to do things she didn't want to do. She's rough around the edges, but has her heart in the right place.
Throw on a super awesome outfit, like a black jacket, graphic tee, ripped jeans, and tall black boots. It's cold out, so layer up in a navy jacket, printed sweater, jeans, gray scarf, and lace-up boots.
Trish
Trish (Rachael Taylor) is a former child star and Jessica's adoptive sister and best friend. She's now a famous radio host and she's one of the only people who knows about Jessica's powers. Despite not having powers, she's just as bad-ass as Jessica.
For a relaxed look: a red cardigan, a blue tank, distressed jeans, pink headphones, and black booties. Or throw on a black jacket over a gray hoodie, jeans, a beanie, and sneakers.
Luke
Luke (Mike Colter) is a man with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin, who works at a neighborhood bar. Jessica encounters him while doing an investigation and it changes her life drastically. He's a man of few words and has a mysterious past, but he makes Jessica a better person (sort of).
Act casual and cool in a moto jacket, blue tee, ripped jeans, gray watch, and gray ankle booties. Or put on a black jacket, striped sweater, jeans, black backpack, and black boots.
Kilgrave
Kilgrave (David Tennant) is a person you hope you never run into. He only cares about himself and forces people to do whatever he pleases without considering the consequences because he doesn't care about others. He's a twisted person, but the worst part is that he doesn't think he is.
Add some fancy flair to your outfits by donning a taupe trench coat, gray tee, black trousers, purple scarf, and black loafers. Or instead wear a black blazer, blue top, purple jeans, and fuzzy mocassins.
