Inspired By: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

I don't know about you, but I'm a little obsessed with Lewis Carroll's world from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Ever since I saw the movie as a kid, I've always loved the whimsical setting, the crazy characters, and the whirlwind journey that Alice goes on. Is it any surprise that I'm looking forward to watching Once Upon A Time in Wonderland

What really intrigued me about the spin-off show of Once Upon A Time is the fact that it's not just about Alice, it's Alice in Wonderland mixed with Aladdin! How cool is that?!

It airs on ABC on Thursdays at 8pm EST starting tonight. (You can see the first 20-minutes here.)

Alice
Inspired By: Alice

Alice (Sophie Lowe) is a young woman in Victorian London who is stuck in a mental institution for believing that she was in a strange land on the other side of a rabbit hole. Just as she's about to get a treatment to forget everything, her friends, the Knave of Hearts and the White Rabbit, rescue her and they escape to Wonderland to find Alice's love, Cyrus.

For a Victorian look, wear an pearl-embellished sweater, lilac dress, beaded necklace, and lace up boots. Or for a more bohemian outfit, try a white tunic, burgundy jeans, rabbit earrings, and black booties.

The Knave of Hearts
Inspired By: Knave of Hearts
The Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) is a friend of Alice's and the last time they were in Wonderland, Alice helped find the Knave's heart. At the beginning of the first episode, he's seen in Storybrooke and unwilling to follow the White Rabbit, but goes to help Alice.

For a casual look, you can wear a striped blue t-shirt, olive jacket, jeans, and star-print sneakers. Or for a more punk outfit, put on a quilted black jacket, printed top, wax-coated denim, and gold cap pointed-toe flats, and a heart ring.

Cyrus
Inspired By: Cyrus
Cyrus (Peter Gadiot) is a young genie who fell in love with Alice and they traveled Wonderland together, trying to run away from The Red Queen and her men. When the queen finally finds them, she flings Cyrus off a cliff, so Alice believes he's dead until the White Rabbit hears rumors he might still be alive.

Look like the genie by wearing a white blouse, red vest, distressed jeans, green rings, and brown booties. Or for a modern interpretation, wear a red tunic, black vest, lots of metal rings, jeans, and lace up boots.

Jafar & The Red Queen
Inspired By: Jafar & The Red Queen
Jafar (Naveen Andrews) is the big bad from the movie Aladdin, and while we don't know his motives yet, I'm sure they're pretty sinister. To dress like him at the office, wear a black blazer, metallic printed sheath dress, snake ring, and ankle-strap heels.

The Red Queen (Emma Rigby), the cold and strict woman in charge, is after Alice for yet unknown reasons. Wear her namesake color by donning a red dress, red floral headband for her crown, black belt, and gold sequin pumps.

Will you be watching tonight?
