Who doesn't love cute and quirky stationery? I know I do! Email, IM, texting, Skpe, Facetime; these are how we communicate nowadays, but there's something special and wonderful about writing a letter by hand and sending it via snail mail. Even better, is opening your mailbox and seeing a letter from a friend. Who wouldn't love that?
A few months ago, I wrote about Chelsea and that her dream was to open a stationery shop. Well, now Marion Claire Stationery is open for business! She let me pick out a few cards from her shop and I'm in love. They all come packed separately, the paper is thick and glossy, and all of Chelsea's greeting cards have sass! My favorite is the "This might sound cheesy, but I love you. And I love cheese." So funny!
These greeting cards came at the perfect time, too. My friend Avra went away to camp for two weeks, so I sent her one of the "From one busy bee to another..." note cards. Then a week later, I sent Naomi a busy bee note card, too. I haven't used the greeting cards yet, but I have two occasions in mind, so I'm waiting for the perfect time.
So if you have a pen pal like I do, or have a friend who lives far away, or you're looking for the perfect birthday (or anniversary or graduation, etc.) card, you should check out Marion Claire Stationery! This is what Chelsea says about sending a card, "I'm a firm believer that it doesn't take much to make someone's day and sending a greeting card is the perfect and easiest way to do so." I completely agree!
When was the last time you got a card in the mail?
