I'm way late on this trend, but for some reason I wasn't really into it when it first popped up a few months ago. Oddly enough, plaid makes me think of lumberjacks and hipsters (are hipsters even still wearing plaid now that it's mainstream? Are they wearing it ironically?), but it has started to grow on me. I only have one plaid item (a purple and black shirt that I bought when I was in 10th or 11th grade that still fits), but I'm going to wear it a lot more now. It's really warm and cozy. Perfect for winter!
I'm obsessed with plaid, I've always loved it might be Scottish roots breaking through :) lovely post

Plaid is synonymous with cozy flannel for me, so I'm all about it!,
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of plaid! It's classic and it mixes well with other prints too.

ReplyDeletePlaid definitely reminds me of those types of people too! But after I tried on my first flannel shirt that was plaid I realized I could never go back!

plaid is great! I love the options we're seeing now with the print. It's not associated with the stereotypes one may have had with them anymore. =D

I must admit, it has taken me a long time to come around to plaid but lately I like it more and more. I'm even contemplating a plaid scarf! This post has some great inspirations - and of course I love seeing my dear friend Alex featured :)

I love plaid, but it's second best to my favorite pattern, stripes. But they're kind of similar and play well together, so it's all good. :)
