Outfit: Lace & Wood (With MEKU Wood Watch)

I seem to have a new collection going: wood watches! I have my cherrywood Jord watch and now this black sandalwood MEKU watch. Wearing a wood watch makes me classy and unique because you don't see too many wooden watches around. Metal watches are so last year, right?

Let me start with what I like about this MEKU watch: it's lightweight, feminine because the straps are thin and the watch face is small, and I really love the dark color, which means this watch literally goes with every outfit imaginable.

Now the downsides: I had some trouble getting the links out in order to make the watch fit my wrist. The metal pins keeping the links together are hard to push out, but eventually I prevailed (with the help of my dad of course). Also, this metal clasp isn't as easy to put on as the Jord one is.

On a totally unrelated note: it's sweater weather, which makes me SO excited!

**I received this product for free. All opinions are my own.**

Are you a fan of wood watches?

Lusting: Fall Scarves

Not that I need any more scarves, but it's getting chillier and chillier and a cozy scarf is always in fashion. I haven't taken out my plaid blanket scarf out yet, but my black infinity scarf has already come in handy on those cool autumn mornings. How cute are the dog print and bat print ones below?

Do you love scarves as much as I do?

Review: Bellabuy App

Any app where I can shop from my phone is both good and bad. Good because I can literally shop anywhere and bad because I can literally shop anywhere. I've been pretty good about shopping lately and not throwing my money at every cute thing that comes my way, but it's hard with apps like BellaBuy.

It's a shopping app based in China (which equals cheap prices, but no doubt long shipping times) with all kinds of items available from scarves to make up brushes to phone cases to office accessories.
The good: The prices for cute printed scarves ($12) and dark floral dresses ($26) can't be beat, it's easy to click around through the various categories (clothing, home, accessories, etc.), easy to make a profile, and it seems easy to pay for items, though I myself haven't purchased anything. They accept returns within 30 days of delivery. I also like there's there's an easily accessible search bar on the bottom right.

The bad: The app crashed several times while I was browsing, which is annoying to say the least. I was clicking from one category to the next and it would switch like it should, and then just stop and be stuck on the "Social" category.

So, BellaBuy definitely needs an update to get rid of glitches, but it also has interesting stuff at great prices (I've been wanting Cards Against Humanity for ages and it's only $10 on the app). It's not the most amazing app, but it's perfect for when you're looking for inexpensive gifts for yourself and people you know.

**I was asked to review this app. All opinions are my own.**

What's your favorite shopping app?

Inspired By: Pan

Despite the underwelming performance at the box office and the negative reviews, I'm still interested in seeing Pan. But I'll be waiting to see it on Netflix, so I can throw popcorn at my computer screen if I hate it, haha!

This new version of Peter Pan is a prequel to the famous J.M. Barrie novel. In Pan, Peter is an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and taken to another world called Neverland, where he's a laborer for the ruthless pirate Blackbeard. There's a prophecy in this land about a boy who can fly and will one day be the end of Blackbeard.

Peter
Pan -- Peter
Peter (Levi Miller) is a sassy young orphan who grew up in London. The horrible woman whose care he is under gets pirates to kidnap him and some other boys, and they are then taken to Neverland to be slave laborers for Blackbeard until he meets Hook.

Stay forever young and be casual in a "Never Grow Up" tank, distressed denim, lots of rings, and burgundy sneakers. Or put on overalls (with a shirt underneath that I forgot to include), sunglasses, a backpack, and Converse.

Hook
Pan -- Hook

James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) is a young man and a fellow miner, like Peter, working for Blackbeard unwillingly. With the help of Peter and his friend Smee, Hook steals one of Blackbeard's flying boats in order to escape.

Throw on a chambray dress, a light vest, and lace-up boots. Or wear a blue chambray top, a taupe vest, jeans, a sharp ring, and knee-high boots.

Tiger Lily
Pan -- Tiger Lily
Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) is a princess and the daughter of Cheif Great Little Panther. It is she who notices that Peter wears the pan flute pendant, which was left to him by his mother. She says that Peter is the legendary Pan.

Put on something colorful and comfy: a teal feather print top, gray leggings, lace-up boots, and a feater print scarf. Or an orange dress, a feather necklace, and brown heeled booties.

Blackbeard
Pan -- Blackbeard
Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) is a ruthless and angry pirate who forces people to mine fairy dust for him in the mines. There is a prophecy that says that a boy who can fly named the Pan will one day kill him.

Go dark in a black and gray striped dress, black balzer, moto boots, and skill and crossbones phone case. Or for something fancier wear a black blazer, black lace dress, burgundy scarf, and heeled booties.

My Six Favorite Booktubers

There's nothing better than grabbing a snack and spending an hour watching Youtube. Even better is watching reviews of books from awesome #booktubers. I've discovered so many fantastic books through book bloggers and booktubers that I've gone on to read and love. Watching these six gals makes me so happy because 1. they're awesome 2. they're talking about books and bookish things and 3. I feel like I'm catching up with old friends.

If you're looking to follow booktubers, I would highly recommend these cool ladies.

ONE | Super Space Chick
I, of course, have to start with Kristin of Super Space Chick (she also has an awesome blog) because le duh. She's awesome and sweet and I love how easily excited she is by the things she loves (books, Funko Pops, video games, Spider-Gwen, Daredevil, manga, and much, much more). I always look forward to her videos and her blog posts. I'm so thrilled that I met her in person in April and then again at BookCon in May.

TWO | Peruse Project
Regan of Peruse Project is too cool for school (she seriously is always rocking a red lip and tousled hair) and reads so much YA fantasy that I'm jealous of her speed-reading skills. One of my favorite things about her videos is how concise, but interesting her descriptions of the books and her reviews are. She somehow makes me want to read every single book.

THREE | Read by Zoe
Zoe of Read by Zoe is so enthusiastic and adorable. Not only does she do review videos (and I like how honest she is with her reviews), but she also creates a lot of fun videos (aka favorites, challenges, and more). Her videos have a bit of quirkiness and silliness to them, which makes them so fun to watch.

FOUR | My Life as a Teacup
Kristin of My Life as a Teacup (follow her amazing blog too) is the English coolest teacher I know. Her videos make me feel like I just stepped into her room and we're chatting about books over tea and cookies. I like that most of her reviews are in-depth ones, so by the end you'll know if this is the book for you or not. Also, Kristin's voice is so calming!

FIVE | Books and Quills
One of the reasons I like watching Sanne of Books and Quills is that she has an eclectic taste in books, like I do. Most of the booktubers in this list read mostly YA fantasy, but Sanne mixes it up with contemporary, classics, non-fiction, and more. Another reason I like her is because her reviews have a conversational tone to them.

SIX | Little Book Owl
Caz of Little Book Owl is so enthustiastic about books that I swear it's contageous. I'm always smiling when I watch a video of hers. I love how excitable and spunky and fun she is. And since we're both obsessed with owls we're obviously destined to be friends.
