Outfit: NYE Bling

I decided to go for an outfit with a little bling, rather than the customary sequins, for New Year's Eve. So I wore this sheer blouse with clear but shiny rhinestones and my largest (and heaviest!) bling-tastic necklace. I wanted to wear a skirt with the top, but I knew it was going to be freezing cold, so jeans it was for me.

I celebrated the arrival of 2013 with Jackie, her boyfriend Ben, a co-worker of Jackie's named Michelle and her friend also named Michelle. Before the Michelle's arrived, Jackie, Ben and I got a drink at a bar named Black Bear. I got a green Jolly Rancher drink. It was sweet and sour and very delicious! After going to another bar, The Brazen Fox, with the Michelle's we all walked into the cold night to see the ball drop. We waited, my fingers and face felt frozen, we counted down, cheered when the ball dropped, saw fireworks, and then the first thing we did in the new year was eat a slice of pizza!
