The fourth season of American Horror Story called Freak Show started last night. Did you watch it? I usually don't like horror anything, but I've been watching this show since it first started (though I stopped watching the last season because it was too creepy for me). I love circuses, so I hope this one isn't too scary! What am I kidding? It's going to be terrifying.
Elsa Mars
Elsa (Jessica Lange) is a German expatriate who manages one of the last freak shows in Florida. She has rescued her performers from being shipped to an asylum by becoming their legal guardians. Before coming to the U.S., she was a performer.
Wear something bright and fun by donning a pink kimono, a highlighter yellow dress, arrow earrings, and floral loafers. Or put on something a little more sexy: a gray scarf, a burgundy wrap dress, fishnets, and black pumps.
Bette & Dot Tattler
Bette and Dotty (Sarah Paulson) are conoined twins who share a body. They are recruited by Elsa to join the freak show. Bette is the innocent and pleasant one, while Dot is more cynical and stern of the two.
Put on something pretty and proper: a gold headband, a two-tone blue dress, an interesting gold ring, and black heels. Or instead be more casual and free-flowing, like a loose green dress, a double necklace, and pointed ankle-strap flats.
Desiree Dupree
Desiree (Angela Bassett) is three-breasted woman whose husband is Dell; he is the ex-husband of Ethel Darling, the bearded woman, and father of Jimmy Darling. She and Dell come to Elsa's freak show because other shows have closed and they need work.
Wear something bright and fun and a little sexy: a red dress, a faux fur scarf, a leopard belt, and black and leopard print heels. Or wear a purple floral crop top, a yellow midi skirt, crystal earrings, and gray t-strap heels.
Jimmy Darling
Jimmy (Evan Peters) is the son of Ethal, the beaded lady and Dell, the strongman, of Elsa's freak show. Jimmy plays the lobster boy.
Dress cool and casual in a rust-colored sleeveless top, distressed jeans, blue earrings, and wrap watch, and brown loafers. Or wear a gray newsboy cap, a wrap blouse, gray jeans, a gray watch, and black oxfords.
