Watch | Read | Listen {April 2014}

Last month, I saw Divergent, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and all were absolutely wonderful. Divergent was just as I imagined when I read the book, plus it was fast-paced and emotional. The only word I would use to describe The Grand Budapest Hotel is delightful. It was funny and charming and I already want to watch it again. I saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman with my 9-year-old sister with a giant bucket of popcorn, and I really enjoyed it. It was funny and cute and pretty smart for a kid's movie.

P.S. -- I'm a part of Chels & The City's Annual Fashion Week this year!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America (Chris Evans) is living in Washington, D.C. and adjusting to the modern world when S.H.I.E.L.D. comes under attack. Hank and Asha
This romantic comedy is about Asha (Mahira Kakkar), an Indian woman studying in Prague, and Hank (Andrew Pastides), a New Yorker, who begin talking through video letters. They're two people who are looking for a connection, but when their relationship deepens they have to decide whether to meet face to face. Watch the trailer. I love rom-coms and this one looks wonderful!(April 11)

Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) is the foremost researcher of Artificial Intelligence who is working to create a sentient machine that combines the intelligence of everything with human emotion. As her career takes off, the others in the group struggle to find their own path to success. Watch the trailer. As a writer, this is spot-on and hilarious! (April 18)

Inspired by a true story, Dido Elizabeth Belle (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), is the illegitimate daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral, who is raised by her great-uncle Lord Mansfield (Tom Wilkinson) and his wife (Emily Watson). 1. THANK YOU for sharing about Authors Anonymous! It looks hilarious and as an aspiring author it definitely seems relatable too.

  2. I really want to see Captain America and Belle. As for Authors Anonymous, I think it's funny that to make Chris Klein and Kaley Cuoco seem smart enough to be authors they just threw glasses on them. At least, that's what it seems like to me. It does sound cute though.

  3. I'll probably end up seeing it with my dad and brothers!

  4. Yes, I also thought that was funny! As if glasses somehow make people smarter!

  5. I hope you'll be able to see it soon!

  6. I am excited for Belle!!

  7. I'm normally smarter with my contacts because I don't have to clean toddler fingerprints off them every two seconds :)

  8. Hank and Asha looks very cute! And, I'm willing to watch anything with Johnny Depp in it at least once!

  9. All of these movies are on my list! Can I just have them now!? haha And I'm really excited for Diane Keaton's book for some odd reason. I'm sure it'll be an interesting perspective!

  10. I really want to see Transcendence! It looks so good!

♥ Naomi Starry Eyes + Coffee Cups

  11. STEEEEVE. /fangirl I'm hoping Captain America is still showing somewhere when I go to London so I can watch it with my bestie (who will have seen it like, three times by then but who's counting). Belle also looks really interesting!

  12. I haven't heard of any of those movies which is bad! I love Kaley Cuoco so I'm interested to hear about how that movie is!

  13. These look great, I'll definitely have to check all these out! :D
