If you told me only a few weeks ago that I'd be lusting after a denim jacket for the temperamental spring weather and cool summer nights, I'd think you were crazy. When I think of them, my mind first goes to the ill-fitting ones from the '80s and '90s, so I was never into them (although I've always loved the look on Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club *raises fist into the air*), but now they seem like the perfect companion to a floral or bright-colored dress.

Personally, I'm still not a big fan of the look. Similar to you, I think of the 90's -- my dad and his friends in particular (heavy rock band tees underneath -- what in the world?). Then again, the denim jackets of today might be a whole lot more comfortable than the scratchy material and ugly cuts that I remember from childhood!

DeleteI've always loved the look of denim jackets, but weirdly, I always find it hard to move my arms in them, so I'm never happy once I buy one - I've gone through a few over the years. Lately, though, I feel like a denim jacket is one of the important pieces my wardrobe is missing - love this selection you put together, I have some shopping to do!
