This is an outfit I wore to work last week. I got this skirt from my newest addiction, Poshmark (this is not a sponsored post), and had to wear it immediately. I think this skirt is supposed to be knee-length, but with my short legs it's kind of midi length.
I've been seeing mid skirts all over, especially on Pinterest, but I wasn't sure I could pull it off because I thought it would look me look even shorter. I don't think a real midi skirt that hits mid-calf would work on me, but something just an inch or two longer than knee-length is perfect. I have to admit, it made me feel classy!

I think this midi skirt looks perfect on you :)

The skirt is the perfect length on you! I've been scared to try a midi skirt but you've convinced me that a shorter one would work well!

ReplyDeletehey Sara! thanks so much for coming by my blog! I love so many of the sweet detailing in your blog layout, the splash of purple text, those little red hearts, love!
ReplyDeleteI've had the same hesitation about midi skirts because my legs are SO short already! I think it really helps to play with the proportions, like wearing a fitted/smaller shirt on top (or a tank) and heels on wedges on the bottom! I think you look lovely, the color of the skirt is great!!
♥ perfectly Priya
its funny how we have to wear certain styles in the way that they weren't intended because of length. I just got a jacket that's supposed to be 3/4 sleeves, but its long sleeves on me!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that always happens!
ReplyDeleteGreat tips!! Thank you!!
