Watch | Read | Listen {May 2015}

I think I need to live at the movies this month! I think I'm just going to camp out at the movie theater so I can always have the best seat in the house. I saw Age of Ultron this past weekend and the other two I absolutely need to see are Pitch Perfect 2 and Tomorrowland (there's actually a prequel book called Before Tomorrowland that was released by Disney).

MOVIES

Avengers: Age of Ultron
When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)  jumpstarts a a peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's heroes (Chis Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johannson, Chris Evans, and Jeremy Renner) are put to the test to save the planet from the villainous Ultron (voiced by James Spader). {Watch the trailer.} Saw it this past weekend and loved it! (May 1)

Before I Wake
Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane) take a sweet 8-year-old, but Cody is terrified of falling asleep because his dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. Jessie and Mark experience the wonder and horror of it and go on a hunt to uncover the truth of Cody's nightmares. {Watch the trailer.} I'm not normally one for horror, but this looks really interesting. (May 8)

Pitch Perfect 2
The Barden Bellas, the all-girls acapella group, are back with old and new members. They'll stop at nothing to win an international singing competition. Featuring Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld and directed by Elizabeth Banks. {Watch the trailer.} NEED TO SEE THIS! (May 15)

Tomorrowland
Two people bound by destiny -- jaded genius Frank (George Clooney) and optimistic and curious Casey (Britt Robertson) embark on a dangerous mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space called "Tomorrowland." {Watch the trailer.} Doesn't this movie look so cool? (May 22)

Barely Lethal
Megan Walsh (Hailee Steinfeld) has spent her entire life in a special school learning to be a special ops agent, but on her first mission she sees the typical American life she years for and fakes her own death in order to have a normal life, but she learns school can be even more difficult than international espionage. {Watch the trailer.} Okay, yes, the premise is a bit ridiculous, but sometimes you just need to watch silly and fun movies. (May 29)

  6. I LOVED the first Pitch Perfect so much because I'll always remember that I saw it with my two best friends and then after we went to one of my friend's homes and found these old letters from the 50s in her garage. Kind of random, but it always reminds me of that. Hope you love Avengers!
