**I received a credit to the shop. All opinions are my own.**
I saw this glasses necklace on Favoring Brave's Etsy page and immediately favorited it. A few days later I saw that Jill, the woman who runs the shop, had bought an ad on my blog and I was super excited to work with her. Who could say no to working with someone who re-purposes abandoned books and turns them into something new?
Jill saves these books that are going to be thrown away and refashions them into jewelry, pendants, journals, prints, and more. This particular bookish necklace is made from an encyclopedia page and is so cute. These mini glasses look like my real glasses!
One thing I really like about this necklace is that there's no clasp at the back. It just slips over your head, so there's never any fiddling with the chain to hide the clasp. Anyone else always moving the chain of their necklace over and over throughout the day?
